Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico in a family who was passionate about music. She spent the majority of her youth listening to classical music and boleros of the past, classic ranchero or romantic tunes, as well old classical pieces. Ana is a fan of Tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas and any form dramatic performance. At the age 16, she began to sing and study the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to give her more intense vocal instruction. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. She performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a musician and student. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. Passion and enthusiasm for art, music, and performing keeps her involved with many local organizations as a teacher and performer. Ana was a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Choir for allowing her to perform traditional Latin American song.
